Live a life of LOVE
Greater things are yet to come
By Akosicamz
Hello! I’m Camille Pagliawan, junior BS Business Administration major in Export Management student in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. I’m a proud volunteer, peace advocate and a student leader. My interest are blogging, photography and graphic design. This blog ‘Live a Life of Love‘ is where I express my thoughts of every life experiences.
“A sense of purpose is the best driving force to live”
The purpose of this blog is to give a ‘Blast of Inspiration’ for youths like me, talking about love, happiness, encouragement, motivations, inspirations, life and the goodness of it. Nowadays, young people easily gives up and loses hope. Going with the flow of the current of this fast-pace life. Ending up having the perspective that they’re unloved and their life is unworthy. The truth is “God designs what we go through. We decide how we go through it. In anything and everything the best plan begins and ends with God.” -Jeremiah 29:11
Going back, ‘Live a life of love’ shares topics like but not limited to the following; college life experiences, passion of advocating and volunteerism as a way of life.
How is it to be a college student? What are the challenges that a college students face and how to overcome those are some of the questions under College life category. The author believes that everyone has a purpose to fulfill, future to prepare and a destiny of Excellence to achieve.
Advocacy Category. Peace, Human Rights, Environment, good Governance are some of the advocacies of student volunteer group from where I belong, under the Center for Social Action (CSA) of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. We are a group of student volunteers committed to promote awareness and encourage fellow Benildean students to be actively involved in social issues.
The author considers volunteering as a way of life precisely because her heart is on serving people and having a contribution for the welfare of others. Volunteerism is a way of life or practice of generous and/or non-reciprocal giving of oneself in the service of others. Volunteering implies an actual work opportunity or job position for a particular cause without payment of services. It also implies commitment to undertake assigned tasks and is open to accountability for his/her actions. Thus, it cannot be simply opportunity to share skills and knowledge because this notion is not commitment-based. Moreover, it cannot simply be giving of oneself during his/her (relative) free time because it lacks depth of responsibility.
The above topics are just some of the authors thoughts of little bit of every day’s life experiences. To subscribe and have an update of ‘Live a life of love’ just click SUBSCRIBE. Hope in some ways I did inspire you! God Bless!
Ephesians 5:2 says “Live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God”.
